Experienced this while walking the Caminho Portugues a few years back. The whole experience was so amazing for so many reasons, but sites like this one were amazingly inspirational.

You cross this bridge on the Caminho Portuguese in Caldas de Reis. The bridge is still in use as the primary crossing of the river, but be careful as it can only handle one lane of traffic at a time and crossing requires caution, so...More

The water comes out warm due to coming out of a hot spring - so make sure you use the opportunity to wash your feet here... Perfect after a long day of hiking - but watch out the water is hot!

We started walking to Padron at the bridge. It was raining and cloudy and the town until then looked mostly industrial. The bridge was a welcomed sight!
