Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This Harbor is busy for water sports include The Iron Man attraction. So fun! Clean beach, many operators here but be careful with personal operator.

Good also for photography. I come here just for photography and interaction with the locals.

I was among many others disembarking from a cruise in Bali on December 4th 2019.
The only way to leave the cruise terminal was by local taxi.
The local Taxi drivers had obviously all agreed on prices and the best we could find was $30 US to Nusa Dua, This at least three times the cost in a metered taxi.
Other taxis and all other forms of transport were not allowed inside the port area.
My normal transport in Bali is by Blue Taxi (metered) but there were none of these to be found.
I was very disappointed in the Bali Government for permitting this abuse of power and will always arrange for collection by a suitable car + driver in the future.

You have been warned.

Where ever you are in Benoa it worth a walk around the end of the harbour, get lucky and see the fishing boats unload, check out the local neighbourhood.

The harbour has a lot going for it - excitement, activity, food, spaces to sit and watch. We like watching the water sports while sipping an ice cool drink. Worth a visit.

The Benoa harbour is an exciting place to visit, with the activities of fishing and water sports giving a real buzz. Food options are also good.

Busy beach , much Watersport activity! Good for families with adventurous children. Less scenic than many other beaches around Bali, short stay ok.

To enjoy Benoa harbor you need to walk the main street right to the end then you walk through the local district before getting to the pier and if you are lucky see the boats unloading their catch. A great walk for those willing to explore Benoa.

Our final port was Bali and we were disembarking that morning. Unfortunately, even though I had checked what ships would be in port that day, there was another cruise ship already berthed and we had to tender in to disembark. It was OK, but our cruise ship was tendered quite a distance from the harbor since there is so many smaller boats and cargo ships in the area. We disembarked and went to our bus for our tour as part of our post extension for two days in Bali. There's not much here as a tourist destination, mostly a place to transfer or catch a ferry elsewhere.

Lots of temples and other attractions to look at. We had a local guide to show us around which was very handy and informative.

The harbor is used for boarding sight seeing boats. There are simply lots of buses loading and unloading tourists. There is no real attraction to see or boardwalk to take a stroll.
