This Abbey is a hidden gem. Take the tour inside to reveal it's full history and background. You can take a tour with audio assistance or make your own way around. Small entrance fee to pay which goes towards the costs of renovations. They have seasonal displays from time to time. This site is well worth a visit, not just from the outside or grounds. There are a few good restaurants nearby, as well as little gift shop. Highly recommended, historic site to visit if you're in Brittany.

I was expecting a ruin (and some of it is!). For the entrance price of €6 you can have an English audio guide or a tablet. We went for the tablet which also showed an idea of what the rooms where like furnished. The area is quite pretty and you can also stroll my the canal, use a local bar/restaurant or the picnic area for lunch

Although little of the original abbey remains, the parts that do, along with the partially renovated 17th Century ruins are a testament to the power of the local community that rescued this decaying ruin some 30 years ago. The current on-site art installations work very well in this space and the Wish Tree is wonderful. A shame it won't be a permanent addition. The Sound & Light show truly lives up to its billing as a spectacle. If you are here at the right time, you really must go! It's a great evening and the show impresses at every level. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our little wander round the abbey and hearing the history and the renovation. They has an exhibition all about hair and the culture of hair which was surprisingly interesting especially all the wigs! The wishing tree made the kids happy! Took about an hour wandering around and we might have stayed longer but the youngest got tired and was ready for a nap. All in all an very enjoyable visit. Cost 6euros for adults and kids under 8 are free.

We were staying in a gite not far from this ruined abbey and decided to pay it a visit. We were not disappointed. It only costs 5 euros per person and it is a very interesting place.
