They have 'masahista's' in their plaza and they have good pressures and very very friendly. They also have an amazing christmas decorations and lights during night.

Through the years, this piece of government property had undergone aesthetic changes depending on the whims of those working with the administration at the time. But despite the massive facelifts (i.e changing of the water fountain to a kiosk and the much-loved castle with pond to a business building), much of the classic Luneta spots had still been left recognizable... Taking a stroll through the park is a very relaxing experience. After a busy day of shopping and sight seeing the family decided to come here to cool and off and relax and watch the sun set. We slowly strolled and enjoyed the atmosphere sipping on coconut juice bought from one of the local vendors.

We visited Luneta Park the day before we left the Philippines. The park was simply breathtaking. I was really impressed by the history that was evident all over the park from the "Madre Filipiña" statue to the Jose Rizal memorial. The park was very clean and would be great to just take a nice walk and even go picnicking.

If you are fond of visiting parks and attraction, try this Luneta Park. As usual, you would see the statue of Dr. Jose Rizal.

Visited Jan 13, 2015. Beautiful small park in front of City Hall and the Church. The city tourism office and the Battle of Surigao Straight Museum are in the park. There is a giant shoe at one side of the park. There is also a large gazebo at the park.
