We often go to Tintern and only when we visited Chepstow Castle did we find out that dogs are now allowed into Tintern. Full marks to them.

What a fantastic place to visit. As you approach the Abbey from the main road, from Chepstow, you instantly have that WOW factor, especially on a sunny autumn day. Well worth a visit.

Although the abbey is a ruin, it is grand in scale and stunning in nature. My daughter and I took multiple pictures, imagining the abbey in its prime. Placards described the various rooms and uses.
