Tryall is not a easy resort course that boosts your confidence for your game. The front and back nine are entirely different. The front nine is a seaside course that is fairly flat and straightforward. The back nine is like a mountain course with very fast greens especially if you are above the hole. However, beautiful views and nice weather... More

I bit the bullet and blew some cash on a cab to take me from the RIU Palace to Tryall. Not a cheap course to play and I played lousy but enjoyed every minute of my time on the course. There was something about standing on the green listening to the ocean just 20 yards away. The elevation changes may... More

This course may look easy from the road, but don't be fooled. Every hole is different and the required caddies are worth the tips! They know every nook and cranny and their reads on putts were right every time. We played four rounds and had Sugar as our caddie every time. He was so sweet and incredibly helpful. Our scores... The new chef has raised the bar on menu options (and service, too!) at the casual Beach Cafe across from the Pro Shop. The outdoor grill is a marvelous step up in options offering aromatic, delicious chicken, chops, fish and shrimp hot off the grill. Will lobster be next? Hors d'oeuvres at the Monday Night Manager's Cocktail are better than... More

The course has 4 holes along the ocean and the caddies are very helpful in terms of course knowledge. The prices were reasonable and I didn't need a tee time. Played in under 3.5 hours!

The Tryall Golf Course is a wonderful 18 hole course that is almost three courses in one. It has a handful of waterside/vies holes, some fairly level ones and six that head up the side of the mountain and offer spectacular views. This is a very good layout that requires some real shot making while offering some real risk/reward choices.... More
