We visited the castle few days ago, but did not enter the castle itself. Maybe we were a pit unprepared for the visit and didn't know the contents of the exibition, but the castle looks stunning on that hill. My kid enjoyed it as much as we did. They have a good animation programme for children. All in all I... More

The castle is well preserved and very attractive from afar. There is a short walk all the way up but you might like to use comfotrtable funicular. I really enjoyed touring the castle even on my own. The rooms with some original pieces of furniture were very interesting as well as the exibitions. One of the best attractions in the... More

It was a great visit even on a rainy day. We took the funicular so we didnt get wet and there is ony a short walk to the castle entrance. The exibitions are really good and inovative displeyed, rooms carefully restored - watch out for picturesque wooden ceilings and ornamental doors! Unfortunately due to bad weather we didn't have any... More

Love visiting here whenever we are going to the Zotter Chocolate Factory. The castle is very impressive and you can either do the long walk up or take the little funicular at the back which saves you a lot of walking. Most of it is in German but there are a few handouts in English which you can pick up... More

What a wonderful medieval castle. Thete is a lift one side but walk up and down if you can to appreciate the amazing feat of the builders. No wonder it was never captured. The views are spectacular and the rooms you are able to view interesting.

I haven't been in the castle, just outside for a walk and to enjoy a very nice view of the wineyards and old volcanoes.

The castle is well seen from the surroundings since it is located in the highest part of the countrieside. You can walk to the castle or you can take the lift. We walked only down and it was quite a long walk since you first come to the village and than you have to return to the parking place. In... More
