This is a lovely drive but really not much different than staying on 101. You do have access to Cape Meares and Cape Lookout SP and a few very brief glimpses of the ocean through the trees but if you're looking for a nice ocean...More

This scenic drive is nice. It passes lighthouses and beaches. You can go through the tunnel at a higher tide and still access the beach at Oceanside. The beach here has sand and rock. Agates are easily found. I have a photo of my ancestors...More

Gorgeous views of course. We didn't see an indication for this drive by the way. Found it ourselves though.

We are native Oregonians & former coastal residents, and even so, were in awe of this 40 mile side trip. It winds through dunes, forest, headlands, day use and overnight state parks, small town America, hiking. Capes Kiwanda, Lookout, Meares are nearby. Take your time,...More

A backroad look at the coast line. Huge boulders at several beaches. Small towns, scenic views.sea lions, crab fishermen are just a few sites of our fun trip. Part of thr road is closed and you can back track or cut back to Tillamook Creamery!
