This natural park is quite high so the scenery is stark and moorland but has a real beauty.. and novelty. The waterfall of Fisgas da Ermelo is presented as being very high but that is misleading as it is a series of cascades. Significant effort...More

This Park is such a surprisingly well preserved place. It has one of the richest variety of trees and colours in the area, incredible precipitous rocky valleys and of course, an unmissable water fall.

Stayed in this area for 10 days. Loved the views, small water area's, waterfall and the vegitation. Great for mountainbiking (for experienced only), hiking and exploring by car.
