Easy and very cheap to do with local transport (combi / minibus). Ask someone in Andahuaylas how to get to the 'Pacucha combi estacion'. Its near the Mercado Modelo on Ave Los Chancas. Ask for one going to Sondor and it will drop you at...More

The ruins are very interesting and the views from there are incredible! You can see the Laguna Pacucha from the top.

Rather unknown Chanka culture. Located near the lagune is a good place to visit with a wonderfcull view over the mountains and the lagune.

Inca ( Chanka) site without the crowds in a spectacular setting , try the restaurant's down by the lake for authentic ceviche

It took me awhile to get here as I arrived by road but it was a great suprise. Bring a picnic lunch and sit next to the ruins and look down into the valley. It's just wonderful
