Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great spot to launch your tinny ,but double check tides as very shallow and few markers....Good fish cleaning table and water..Double ramps easy to launch, just watch the submerged rocks at end of pier on eastern ramp...

The Anderson Inlet is a shallow and dynamic estuary in South Gippsland where the Tarwin River enters Bass Strait. It is named after the Anderson brothers, the first Europeans to settle in the area.

We weren't actually sure where we were going driving through Venus Bay today because it all looks so similar as you drive through...but we ended up here while a fishing competition was on. The area was very busy, and people were taking their fishing quite seriously. There were heaps of cars with boat trailers parked in the nearby carpark as there is a boat ramp here.

Families nearby were taking advantage of the picnic shelters and small playground area. There are also well kept toilets at the location. The views of the small islands from the jetty are quite lovely.

This is a most welcoming and pleasant spot - we have been using this area for several decades now and find it comfortable and welcoming.
