Consistency is the keynote experience when dining in the Old Point. The meals are always good, they simply don't do bad meals - ever! With three grandchildren all under 7 there was apprehension but we shouldn't have worried because they were quickly supplied with blackcurrant...More

Set in the countryside outside Kilrea and overlooking Creighton's Wood this is the idyllic location for a peaceful meal in a beautiful rural setting. There are no fancy neon signs or posters lurking out from hedgerows telling you the Old Point is near at hand....More

Called on Thursday evening and restaurant was not open. Had food in the bar which i don't usually like but it was quiet and food was good. Check the bill before you pay as i believe the pasta was £11 but i was charged £12.50....More

I live near here and i cannot big the old point up enough! The food is always top class and large portions too. On top of that the staff are friendly and helpfull. I am always advising prople to go, it never disappoints!

I have visited this establishment many times and each time I have received the same good value , good food and good service . The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming and I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone !
