Went here during the day on a weekday to check it out. It is a dark dive bar located near the beach. We sat up at the bar and watched some football for a bit and had a couple of drinks. It’s about what i...More

Years ago I heard a radio broadcast from the Bushwhacker Festival in Pensacola Beach. I learned how to make this drink and it is now a favorite. I expected a visit to the Sandshaker to be a trip highlight but it wasn’t. This is a...More

My wife and I went to Pensacola Beach celebrating our 30th anniversary. We both worked on the beach in the 70's and 80's, and we always go back to our local hang out when we visit. This time it just seemed sad. It was once...More

I had the 151 bushwacker, yummy!!! It is abbot strong but I would have another! Loved the tiki area where the bar is a surf board!

We heard the live music and were drawn to the venue. Bartender made great drinks, and although we originally were wanting live music, we saw the pinball machine! That was the highlight of our night. Great fun date.

The bartender, Ashley, was very rude. Also made my friends drink wrong. We bought the overpriced drink to get the souvenir cup and she still couldn't get it right. Won't be back.

Great bartender (Tammy). Loved the reasonably priced Bushwhacker which we were just introduced to on a NCL cruise out of New Orleans. Smoky and what some would call a "dive bar" but lighten up folks....it's over 40 years old and is known for it's MARVELOUS...More

Went for the "world famous" Buschwaker. It was a stinky old bar inside. Staff not friendly. Ordered the Bushwacker and it was terrible! Frozen ice with NO taste! Threw it away and left. Great to place to go if you have one foot in the...More

The Sandshaker has a pool table and some interactive video games. It's where the locals go. There is always live music on the weekends.
