The Fort is in a National Park - it’s well cared for and allows an up close experience. You can walk through it and go up on the upper level to see the canons. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Really neat if you like history!

It is part of the National Seashore, and for the money you get into several other parks in the area. There was one beach in particular we went to over and over and it was nice to have already paid for it.
