A very nice easy access beach with lots of great food, flowing drinks, chairs and umbrellas for rent and anything else you might need. Very laid back and perfect for relaxing, taking in sunsets and waves. A bit less expensive and crowded versus destin in...More
Went to Pensacola Beach for a work related meeting. It has beautiful white sand beaches and the water is fairly clear. There are many good restaurants and lots of things to do especially if you are a history buff. Will definitely visit again.
The sand is soooo white and beautiful. It looks like snow. We are from the north and after looking at our photos friends kept asking "why were you wearing shorts in the snow ?" We travel in the spring, school is not out yet, the...More

Yes! You can totally get in the water! The temp does vary a little based on the air temperature - so if by some strange chance it’s like 40 degrees - then Yes, the water will be cold along with the air temp; however - even around Christmas it’s often in the 70s...just really depends upon the day! One day it might be cold but the next day, it’ll probably be MUCH warmer - just play it by ear. No wetsuits required; however, it might be cold enough that you wouldn’t want to be in the water for a looooong time. But the water will still be warm enough to enjoy!
