This is what the coast used to look like before developers got their hooks in. Dont get me wrong i like the amenities, but just to get away and see the beach and dunes without development was great

This is my very favorite beach anywhere. The waves are beautiful, the water warm and fun to play in, the sand white and soft. There are many shots along this seashore that offer shelter or places to eat lunch.

No better place to watch the Blue Angels practice, as well as, the official weekend that is the “Blue Angels Airshow”. Beautiful beaches, great tours of Fort Pickens and friendly Park Rangers. Hats off for the clean camp sites and bathrooms too.

Gulf Island National Seashore was breathtaking. The white sandy dunes and beaches were amazing. Saw beautiful landscaping and wildlife. An afternoon thunderstorm cut our trip short, but we intend to visit again.

A little west of Destin is Gulf Islands National Seashore. It is definitely secluded, and the sand is soft and white. Because there are picnic shelters and bathrooms, you could spend a day here if you wanted to. I was... More
