It's a very attractive place, the nature creation looks like brains. All this because of the wind and sea. The rock there is not hard according what I heard from a tour guide, so the creations there will not last forever. Most of the visitor only focus on queens head, fairy's shoes, candle stand, etc. My mom saw the mango... More

Really a nice place to visit. Just need to be aware that is very sunny, so more probably you will need to take umbrella, hat and sunglasses with you.

It is very crowded with all the tourists. If you are able to wait for the entry, you will greeted with the spectacular rock formations that have been crafted by nature and lots of photographers hogging for the best spots.

We took quite a few pictures of this beautiful getaway! I should post some of them. It is amazing what we find in nature. The figures of the rock formations were odd yet breathtaking. I just wish it were cleaner. There was trash and debris thrown in the water that ruins the place so you have to take pictures "around"... More

Don't be in rush, and try todo the bird watching trail beyond the rock formations if you don't mind a hill. The views are spectacular and you can look at the rocks afterward. A nice air-conditioned covered touristy walkway and some pretty shady gardens to end with. The tourist shuttle from Tansui <-> Keelung stops near the 7/11 and next to... More

gotta go. anyway, erosion is 'eating' the coast away so visit while you can. its pretty windy thus unless u wanna be marilyn monroe, i do not suggest ladies to be in skirts. lots of climbing so its best to be in comfortable shoes, not high heeled shoes... plenty of photo taking opportunities. take a swim if you wish. just... We fell in love with this place, my daughter especially! We cannot imagine how such a lovely place transformed. It is one of the amazing creation of God. We will definitely go back. Tips: Went there on last March 2014 and it was freezing cold. Better bring wind breaker and don't forget to apply sunscreen and chapstick.

it was not as spectacular as i imagined. the photos of sand sculptures you see look so great but it is not too great up close. very crowded and hot. wear comfy shoes if you plan to explore the whole area. there are great seafood restos around the area. we got a set menu of shrimps, fish, squid, abalone, soup... It's was cold as it turns winter when I visit yeh liu, I took the public transport and walk certain distance to reach yeh Liu, the strong wind after the rain, the strong waves, and the perfect specials shapes of stones...just makes me feels greats and relaxing even though is quite cold. Love it. P.s. Those stone are made of... More

Too many people....don't like that quality. I'd rather choose the Hoping island at Keelung. More peace and fun.
