Go there with good clothes and enjoy the sunset. Please be aware that cars can't join in the parking place after 6 p.m. Walk or park outside...

It's worth the short walk to see the lighthouse though it is not open to the public so viewed from a distance. It's £2 to park and there is a nice outdoor cafe. Directly on the coast path.

The South West Coastal path passes right past the entrance road to the lighthouse, but the locked gates and the signage all tell you it is not open!

Ok so the road to reach the point is very narrow and winding and sometimes you can feel as if you spend more time going backwards than forward but this is one of the charms of this particular part of the country. In all the years we have been going we have never witnessed an accident. There is a £2... More

Very dramatic scenery, with steep cliffs, deeps coves, blue water and sea birds flying along the coast. The lighthouse is not available for visiting by the public, it is now a private house. There is a car park, for which there is a charge and there is a kiosk for drinks, snacks and packed lunches.

The day we went the sun was gleaming and the view was absolutely spectacular if anyone is in the area I would definitely recommend the scenic walk to the lighthouse Don't worry about walking footwear it's not necessary You can get down quite close to the lighthouse however you can't access it

On a dry day this is a lovely place to visit. There are some steps and uneven ground. It is an isolated spot and the roads there are narrow. A couple of pounds to park the car. No facilities available.

Hartland Point is a good place to park up to get access to coastal walks or simply views of the rugged coastline. Access seems to be through part of a farm that allows the owners to charge you £2 per car to get to the point. Personally I've no problem with this and the woman who took the money was... More
