I'm not normally a "zoo person", but I must admit that Parc des Mamelles was very cool. Most of the animals seems to have plenty of room to play, and the elevated suspension bridge above the terrain was such fun!
It's an OK zoo - nothing that special. A lot of the exhibits seemed on their own (e.g. monkeys). the treetop walkway is a novelty but you don't much from it and you have to wait as it is one at a time (so you...More

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us your comment. Your satisfaction is our best reward. We are delighted to know that you loved this family run! Very nice day.
A beautifully landscaped Zoo in the “ rain forest” environment. All kinds of animals to enjoy. Birds, monkeys, lizards, smaller mammals, huge black Leopard.... and much more. Be careful in the rain.... walkway can be a bit slippery. Enjoy!

The animals are well cared for and set in a beautiful rainforest setting that includes several hanging bridges for viewing the canopy. Big cats, huge tortoise, and lots of local wildlife. All together, this was our favorite outing.
