This is a beautiful trail especially as a warm up hike. This is the only trail that dogs are allowed on. It's not s super long trial and the majority of it is paved but it's along the river and there are places were you...More

My wife and I walked this entire trail from Canyon Junction down to the Visitor’s Center at 6:30pm on a Friday night in mid-October 2016. We were almost completely alone and it took us 30 minutes or so in the cooling afternoon. The view was...More

This is the only trail dogs are allowed on in the park. Zion was packed on a Sunday but we found a parking spot near this trail by the nature center. This 3-3.5 mile round trip walk depending on what site you read is a...More

Great walk between stops 1, 2, and 3. Not a lot of shade so it's very hot. Lots of bike riders on this trail. Nice scenery.

This trail had mixed reviews but if you are traveling with pets it is the way to go. It can be very hot so be prepared with water!! The views are beautiful and the exercise was easygoing. It was a perfect start to our vacation.

This path is fine for everyone- dogs , bikes , children, people just wanting a stroll . Well surfaced and level . There is access to the museum from part way along this trail which is an excellent place to visit

Hi all - we will be arriving at zion park on an august afternoon and the Parus trail sounds like a great early evening introduction to the park for our group. If we plan the timing properly, will we be able to see the watchman at sunset from the trail below or are we better off at canyon junction bridge squeezed in between the photographers? Any other suggestions for sunset viewing? Thanks in advance!
