This is not really a hike but a walk along the Virginia River. The roads are well paved. There are constantly access to the river. And offers some good views of the mountains. The only downside is that due to the lack of shade on...More

Did this trail after parking our car in the Visitors center lot since it's right there. I'm not sure why this gets good reviews. It's a paved path that really didn't do much for the 4 of us. We took it one way and then...More

We enjoyed a beautiful early morning hike along an easy and paved trail. There were few hikers or bikers on the trail. The mountain views are exceptional. We even saw a red fox watching us from an overturned tree trunk. I recommend getting there early...More

Easy paced walk along the water and passes the museum (has some neat souvenirs). Saw hummingbirds and snakes. Not a ton of shade, FYI. But absolutely one of the easier more leisurely hikes.

Easy and pretty hiking trail (path shared with bicycles). Very good way to start exploring Zion. Suitable for all ages. Nice view of the canyon.

Nice change from the more strenuous hikes of Zion. View are great, and you cross over the river many times on trail level bridges.

Suitable for anyone who wants to use it. You can bike and or bring your dog. One of the few places in the park that allows that. Nice early in the moring or at sunset too.

Pa'rus is not a footpath for hiking, it's a paved multi-use pathway that follows along the Virgin River from the south entrance of Zion (near the visitor center and campground) to Canyon Junction (shuttle stop 3 at the entrance of Zion Canyon on UT9). The...More
