Hike with fairly fit 12 year old and 16 year old. It took us 1 hour 45mins round trip to the top of first ladder and back. Just walking normal pace. It was great. Not too hot even though 40 degrees. Shade. Not busy, leaving...More

About 1 hour drive from Zion NP on I-15, very small town kanarraville. Now they require permit to enter the canyon. Not much $8.00 per person which included parking. Allowed minimum 4 hours to enjoy the beauty. Be careful of snakes.

Please know that they charge $8 per person now, including children, for no other reason than they can. They have not put in any trail markers or safety features, guides or bathrooms for that new price.

We found this hike on TripAdvisor, definitely glad we went! It's about an hour away from the Zion visitors center on the north east side. The ladders are a bit sketchy but we made it up and down no problem. Bring lots of water!!

This trail head starts in Cedar City Utah. It is a bit steep to begin the hike but well worth taking a few breaks to catch your breath to get on top. The slot canyon is amazing. Beautiful colors in the rock and scenery is...More

Be careful and have proper walking shoes if you decide to go on this creek hike. I recommend water shoes as well. THere was a rattlesnake on the hike path so most of the folks that were hiking around us had to go through the...More

The beginning of the hike was not terribly impressive. I was teasing my son that we came to Zion to hike a trail 12 miles away that wasn't technically in Zion, only to walk up a dirt road with mediocre views. He continued to ensure...More

This can be a very popular hike and some people have troubles with the waterfalls. The waterfalls make for very annoying people logjams. Too bad they don't limit the amount of trail users because this place will not be able to handle all the people...More

Nice hike; please park in the parking lot and not drive up the road!! Take $10 cash for parking also (envelopes provided). Started snowing and we were able to avoid getting feet wet until perhaps the last 8th of the hike. It is similar to...More

I have hiked Kanarra Creek three times with the last time being March 6, 2018. The trail head is in the center of town (look for the sign) and there is a large parking lot ($10 fee) with portapotties and garbage cans. Be sure and...More

No picnic tables I’m aware of. Just a parking lot. We usually bring food in backpacks and eat on the hike along the way. Just so you’re aware, as of today you must now get a permit and pay $8/person. It used to be free 😒
