Not the easiest trail. Not the shortest trail. Quite hairy at some parts. Quite narrow at some parts. Be careful. The view is to the tunnel where the cars come out.

Very pretty at sunset. If you don't know where you are going, you might pass up the trailhead. Don't enter the tunnel, just pull over and start climbing the stairs. It's an easy hike for those who are use to hiking. Not suitable for older...More

We were coming on Hwy 9 from the east to Zion National Park. This is a very convenient stop before driving into the Zion Park valley. There is parking for maybe 8 cars in the parking lot, but we found cars parking along the side...More

It’s worth going here early to ensure that you get a parking spot. Came here around 7:20 and had to wait awhile for the morning light to arrive. The only other people there other than myself were photographers so it was very quiet and peaceful....More

This is well worth the short hike to the overlook. Fun little hike and great rock formations and view at the overlook.

If you can only do one trail, this is the one. If you can do stairs, you can do this climb. A wondrous trail through boulders, along cliff edges, under overhangs, across bridges, a little rock scrambling; one experiences all the canyon has to offer....More

Spent a week hiking all the trails in Zion. Did this one on the first day and came back again to repeat the hike on our last day as it offers so many different micro-environments. Plus we like a vigorous workout. Take an early morning...More

I think you can (but check with nps website) as shuttle's only cover the area north of that turning. Be warned parking at the overlook trail is very limited so get there early.
