This hike was on an extremely well maintained trail. We were told it was strenuous, but found it to be easy enough to do. It called for 6 hours, but we did it in 4, and that included a few stops on the way down....More

This was an amazing hike! The crowds and fear factor were completely absent but the thrills were amazing. This hike has such diversity. We hiked it in mid-June. At the base the yucca were in fruit but were blooming at the top. You will be...More

OK, so it's the only substantial hike we did in Zion, but we really enjoyed it, even more than our hikes in Bryce and the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend starting in the morning (I think we hit the trailhead around 9am) so that the...More

After we'd arrived in Springdale and checked into the Quality Inn RV Park (highly recommendable) we studied the hiking map and discussed what to do the following day, narrowing it down to between Observation Point and Angels Landing. We finally felt we'd decide in the...More

When you speak to anyone about Zion (or so it seems amongst my own social circle) - it is about Narrows or Angel's Landing. Which are great, and I am not comparing! Observation Point is an all rounder great hike for one who enjoys varied...More

This is a beautiful hike rising to 2150 feet. There are many different types of terrain most of which are uneven & rocky. Steep slopes & long drop offs make for a very careful hike. This is an 8 mile strenuous hike but worth every...More

The first part of the hike is a very steep climb to a slot canyon about 2/3 of the way up the canyon. For the younger kids (9 and under) it was a constant cycle of encouragement and support. And lots of hand holding because...More

Long hike with a variety of terrain and views. Hiking through a canyon was my favorite part apart from the very top and the views up there! It was nice to look down on Angel's Landing. I saw rock climbers climbing a vertical rock face,...More

The begining of the hike is steep and boring. Once you finally make it to the top (of the begining of this hike) and turn the corner, the canyon definetly takes your breathe away. After alot more steep hills we finally made it, it was...More
