We passed this place for years because we were either too worn out from all the hiking at Zion or we ran out of time. Don't miss it. The Double Arch on Taylor Creek trial is amazing

Take a few extra minutes on your way to Zion to check out this beautiful wonderland! Sure glad we did! It wasn’t huge, maybe a 5 mike road but up close and personal view of nature’s beauty! Enjoy!

Kolob Canyons is about 40 minutes north of the main Zion Canyon and, as such, people often forego visiting it. However, it's a great place, especially if you want a break from the crowds. The trails into the steep canyons are moderate with a fair...More

This area is quiet corner in Zion National Park with a scenic drive. Once at the top hiked up further for better views. Not crowded and offers gorgeous views of the area.

Kolob Canyons is part of Zion NP, but removed, such that it feels like an entirely different park. While the main area is crazy with people, waiting for trams, trying to hike with lots of (often inconsiderate) people, this is the true experience of the...More

It's an 8 or so mile hike from the trailhead, which is a few miles from the park entrance. It's pretty much a full day to see Kolob Arch.

There's a visitors center at the entrance to Kolob Canyon where you're supposed to pay a fee if you don't have an annual pass.
