Well this trail like most others in Zion is hideously over subscribed with thousands trekking up it with no heed for nature or wildlife of the region. Honestly it’s quite sad really to let this happen to s National treasure such as Zion. I will...More

This is the same as the River Walk Trail. It starts at the end of the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive and leads to the trailhead of "The Narrows". This trail can be very crowded.

We took the Zion Park shuttle to the area named Temple of Sinawava at the end of the park road and then walked the 1-mile Riverside Walk. The walk was pleasant, and the views are lovely. At the end of the Riverside Walk, those who...More

Clarification: This trail is named "Riverside Walk" and the trail head is in the north end of Zion Canyon at a geologic formation named Temple of Sinawava (Zion Shuttle stop 9, about 7 miles from the visitor center). To reach it, you must pay entry...More

This is a good trail to hike, but is somewhat marred by the volume of people hiking this trail even in off season. The trail is easy to walk and the views are other lovely too

After hiking the Emerald Pools loop in the early morning, we headed out on this paved out-and-back trail at about Noon. It was quite crowded (even in early February), but the trail is wide enough that it isn't hard to pass others and go your...More

We hiked along this popular trail on a beautiful January afternoon. There were a lot of people there but it was still lots of fun and the scenery is simply gorgeous as you hike along the river. We didn’t have a lot of time as...More

The River Walk is one of the easiest trails in Zion. In January, it is not crowded and there is plenty of parking. I am sure July would be a different matter. Great to wander along the Virgin River and through the rocky landscape in...More

We followed this trail with the Narrows as our destination. The trail itself is paved but at one point, we got off the crowded paved trail and opted to walk along the Virgin River. Much better! It was warm enough to walk in the water...More

The only hiking we were able to do in Zion was THE TRAIL TO THE "TEMPLE OF SINAWAVA", because of time constraints by our Tour Company. This trail starts & returns to the snack bar & gift shop. It is a gentle paved trail which...More

Only to the Narrows. That is a wet hike.... and cold. It's at the end of the trail and up the Virgin River.
