Have hiked this from the bottom, and it's a great hike. Also, then hiked to Cable Mountain, looking DOWN on Angels Landing. Quite a view from above.

This is a strenuous hike and not for those who are afraid of heights. The last part of the climb is along a narrow precipice that requires you to hang on to chains. There is a sheer drop on either side and you must have...More

Not for the faint of heart, but worth every step. Highly recommend this hike in the spring or fall, as the summer months are hot, and there isn't much shade on the trail. Don't forget plenty of water and some snacks, sunscreen and a camera!

Firstly before planning to attempt this hike, one has to be prepared mentally than physically, obviously some lunges and running will get one to the top with shaking legs and burning shins, but mental toughness is what this hike demands. As far as getting there...More

Took a 3 hour drive from Vegas to Zion park in the morning just for the Angels Landing Hike. I guess it's about 5 miles round trip, 1,400 up. A little chilly in January. Most of the trail on the way up is paved until...More

We found the hike up fairly easy (took about 90 minutes). The final few hundred yards are very exposed and not for those with height fears. I still suggest they go to the top prior to the chain area.

This was an amazing hike. Wear shoes with good grip as it is very steep in some parts and coming down can be slippery especially if you go on a day like me and my wife where it was on and off drizzling. When we...More

Angels landing is the 6th stop on the shuttle bus which runs as early as 6am from the parks visitor centre which you can park your car at. I would recommend taking the earliest bus as it will get crowded on the hike. This has...More

I did this hike with my wife, brother and sister. It was perfect for the time we had it took us about 2 hours. If you're out of shape it might take you just a little longer but we are also not in great shape....More

We had one day to do a full-day hike at Zion NP. After browsing through the reviews we picked Angel's Landing. The hike starts along the river and slowly winds up the steep rock, leading through a ravine and eventually reaching a plateau. If you're...More
