Plenty of views and also a great trail for plenty of cliff drops to either side. Great adrenaline with the risk of panic attack for the weak hearted fellow.

Demanding climb made easier if done earlier in morning. Starting from Grotto shuttle stop in Zion takes brisk 1 1/4 hour climb each way. Certainly worth taking a couple of litres fluid for each person. Possibly more if making the climb midday as little shade....More

Almost in the center of the Zion Canyon, the summit of Angel's Landing offers incredible panoramic views of the entire canyon. In my opinion, it offers the best effort/ratio in the Southwest (Disclaimer: I have only hiked in the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon)....More

My wife and I started early in the morning and we are glad we did. The weather was perfect and the whole hike was shaded. We stopped at Scouts since my wife refused to go further as she is afraid of heights. But we thought...More

Terrific day hike, but very crowded. Progressively steeper approach; starts as an easy walk on a paved trail, then to Walter's Wiggles set of narrow switchbacks to Scout Summit. Past that point the hike is not for the acrophobic; spectacular approach across a 2ft-wide sandstone...More

Pick hikes that your 7 year old can do and enjoy. Weeping Rock, emerald pools, scouts lookout (but not to Angels Landing...could continue in rim trail). Whatever hikes you do, pace yourself based on your child & always take... More
