Zion National Park rates this hike as 'strenuous' and it is certainly challenging. There is a long incline and a number of switchbacks before you reach what you think is the top after climbing rocks with the aid of a chain. As it turns out,...More

This is a unique outdoor experience. The trip across the spine can be harrowing, but it is ultimately worth it. A great and unique view of the beautiful Zion Canyon. Make sure you go early to avoid the crowds.

One of the best hike I ever did, strenuous enough but fulfilling at the very end, when you look down and see the valley under your feet. Must go early otherwise you will find a whole bunch of people and the last part will get...More

The hike up to Angel's Landing is no joke. It's long, hard and at points- terrifying. However, if you have the will and the right gear, go for it! The hike starts out easily, so long incline and slow, wide switchbacks. Followed by a brief...More

This hike is challenging. As you hike, you see wonderful views of the park. Almost at the top, there is a rest area. Trail continues along steep rock face with chains for support. Reward is killer views of the canyon from the top.

This isn't the best trail to realize you have a fear of heights or crowds but nonetheless, my hike of Angel's Landing challenged me mentally. Physically, the trail was moderately challenging for me. I was banged up from doing the Narrows the day before so...More

We loved Zion, over three days we did the Narrows, Angels Landing, Emerald Pools/Kayenta Trail loop and more. We got up very early to do this, as we wanted to avoid the crowds. We hit the trail at 7.15 and reached Scouts Landing by 8.15....More

The trail was crowded - the views magnificent. Be aware: the trail can be scary and dangerous, you are on slippery terrain and the trail is very narrow at certain sections. If you are deathly afraid of heights, choose another one of the many beautiful...More

The hike to Angel's landing was challenging at times but the view from the top made it worth the effort. Even better than the view is the feeling of accomplishment once you conquer the hike. The last section is tough but it looks worse than...More

No but certainly helpful until you get to the chains. Then they are in the way.
