I can't imagine the park before the shuttles were put into place. The shuttles were fast and easy to use and we never had to wait more than a couple minutes to get on one. The shuttles had a narrative that was interesting to listen to while you rode and were comfortable enough to get from point A to point... More

These shuttles run very true to their schedules if not faster and more accommodating! Zion Park reminds me of an outdoor Disney Resort. I'm impressed with how nice the park is kept and smoothly things run!

This is the only way to enter Zion National park in spring and summer. This keeps away those hundreds of cars from crowding and polluting the national park. They run buses very efficiently with max wait time as 10 min. There are total 9 stops starting visitor center to Temple of Sinawava. Stop no. 5 - Zion Lodge has restaurant.... More

Overall the shuttle system is great and very efficient. The problem is that Zion is overcrowded and the shuttles can't always accommodate that. In early april, it was usually quite fine, but in the middle of the afternoon the lines could sometimes back up a fair amount. Apparently in peak season this is even worse. My recommendation would be when... More

Just visited on the Wednesday after Easter, had to wait in line about 30 minutes to begin shuttle service at the visitor center, other stops only required about a 10 minute wait, standing room only on some shuttles. Shuttle system very effective way to manage crowds/parking in the park. Guides/speakers share park info/history throughout the ride.

This is the only transportation allowed in the park except for people driving to the Lodge. The shuttle is easy transportation but can get crowded even in the off season. But they have many shuttles so if you cannot get on this one another shuttle is just a few minutes away. Comfortable ride but there is not a narrative of... More

Being non-serious bikers, we enjoyed using the bike rack on the front of the free park shuttle to get a ride uphill into the park. We stopped at the hike we wanted to take, then enjoyed the downhill ride back to our campground. It is not obvious that the rack is there, which may be why we didn't see anyone... More

There is simply no way that Zion could possibly handle the influx of private transportation for the vast majority of the year. The shuttle system is somewhat of a pain, as wait time at the visiter's center can easily stretch out to an hour. During the morning and late afternoon, many shuttles are jammed full, so despite seeing a bus... More

Stress free and convenient option. All the drop offs locations are a must see. Longest time we had to wait for a shuttle to take us to a different location was no more than 3 minutes.
