Although the park had a lot of people/families we still had a lot of fun. In July there is a lot of water in the Narrows. Beware of what color you wear. The water has a lot of the red mud/sand in it and will...More

We chose this hike over Angels Landing. Too many people are allowed at Angels Landing, it’s just not safe with all the people trying to traverse this knife edge. Observation Point was the perfect choice. 4miles up and back. Total elevation is around 2000ft. You...More

I have lived 6 hours from Zion my entire life and for some reason never went until just recently. I greatly regret this! Zion was absolutely beautiful. There are so many different hikes to choose from that could keep you busy for days. I really...More

We drove through the park on our way home from a family reunion. The landscapes are beyond description and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park is extremely popular and the sites are quite crowded.

This park was probably my favorite. So much to do here. First off you should get here before 8AM so you can park in the visitor parking lot. The visitor center opens at 8AM. I recommend you get on the bus as soon as you...More

We spent an afternoon and a morning here - split by a night in Springdale (at the Hampton). The Park is wildly beautiful and wildly busy. So we sort of did the classic visit. Drove up from Las Vegas one morning into Springdale then the...More

Just the drive in to the park gives you incredible views. We saw a herd of mountain goats eating by the road as we drove in. We arrived early (7:30) and got a spot in the parking lot in the shade. Glad we didn’t have...More

You cannot drive your car on the shuttle route. If you are staying at the Zion Lodge you get a pass that allows you to drive to the lodge only. The shuttle is quite efficient and it comes to each stop every few minutes. The... More

It’s about a 2 hour drive, so I’m not sure they provide anything like that. I don’t remember seeing anything. I suppose you could Uber?
