Beautiful area to hike and just take in the amazing scenery. Definitely take the trail to angels landing. Go early to avoid the crowds. Do the narrows if you have time.

We drove over from Vegas, the drive alone was beautiful. Entering the park the beauty started, the mountains were so different from any I’ve ever seen.

It’s all about the timing. I went by mid week in early December during a cold spell. Kept the locals away and the park was pretty much empty. Every parking lot was less than half full. I hear around most holidays but it gets pretty...More

Zion can be different to maneuver because transportation in the park is by bus. Arrive early (before 8:00 a.m.) to get parking in the park. In warm months, that is the ideal time to hike too. All hiking trails are great and vary from accessible...More

Okay bad joke. Great place. If you’ve never been to the Grand Canyon, I would argue this is really the ONLY way to experience it. People don’t realize this is actually the northern tip of the Canyon, but It is! Because It can be a...More

Get there early and plan on hiking - we arrived about noon and there was no parking available inside the park so I’m addition to the $35 entrance fee - we had to pay $20 for parking and take a shuttle to park entrance. We...More

We recently visited Zion (in mid-November) and it was wonderful. The daytime temperature was perfect for hiking, and with less crowds due to the season, we could go everywhere without too many people. We did four hikes (didn't do the big one -- Angel's Landing)...More

No, there was still parking available; especially if you go early. We had easy parking at the lookouts as well.
