You will not experience Rainy Lake unless you are in a watercraft. This is a water adventure park with miles of shoreline and islands. Beautiful setting with local lore and history.

The visitor center offers two different movies providing an overview of the park as well as the history of the region. The rangers were friendly and helpful and the exhibits were interesting. The restrooms were very clean.

We stopped by this visitor center to get another stamp for our passport books, and to check out the different displays. The model of the North Canoe is also there. The North Canoe tours launch from here. There aren't many hiking trails nearby though.

The Grand Tour starts at this Visitor Center. There is a stuffed moose in the visitor center. It is cool. the garden Outback has the monarch butterfly caterpillars on the milkweed in July.
