Paved path. Relatively short walk for hikers, but with a slope that will work you if you're not in shape. Good info placed along the path. Beautiful views of the forest and significant trees, of course.

Pictures can’t do it justice. Seeing giant sequoias is a breath taking experience. They are giants out of time and it is hard to believe the largest ones existed for over 1,000yrs! Their future doesn’t seem bright primarily due to global warming. I highly recommend...More

Kings Canyon National Park is where we stayed in Azalea Campground. General Grant and General Sherman the largest tree are an hour drive apart . There is another area in Sequoia Forest where Giant 100 Trailhead is a must... More
