Copeland Fall is pretty and easy to get to. Keep on hiking to the cascades and Ouzel because they are stunning! One of the best times to go is in May because the snow has started to melt and creates some very strong falls.

Nice easy hike along river with a couple of waterfalls. It just gets better the farther in you hike. Easy hike for families. Walk along and check out the trees, flowers and water. Lots of places to stop and explore the water. If you hike...More

This is a relatively easy hike for most people - we saw a few families with young children. The trail is rarely very far from a small river, with several waterfalls of varying sizes along the way. We were there during early August and everything...More

It was our last day in the park and after many early mornings and more strenuous hikes, we wanted something easy but beautiful on our last afternoon. Copeland Falls fit the bill for us. It was a short, mainly flat hike out to the upper...More

After a previous day of hiking already, we planned on just seeing Copeland Falls before leaving RMNP. When we got there, we decided to keep walking to Calypso Cascades also. The hike to Copeland is very flat for being in the mountains, and very short-...More

I highly recommend this hike. It is perfect because you get a great view of nature up close and it doesn't require a tremendous hike. Ouzel Falls is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a forest.

Very short side trip on the way to Quzel Falls, especially if you haven't adjusted to the altitude. Recommend doing this stop on the way up to Quzel Falls.

This is such a gentle hike that in spite of the altitude most people will be able to handle it. I recommend it to friends with children because of the creek, the chipmunks, lots of places to rock climb and play in tithe water.

I would place this as a destination for those that cannot sustain a long hike and would like to take in a bit of nature. These falls on the North St. Vrain Creek are not awe inspiring, rather they are wide and not too terribly...More
