One of the easier hikes we did. It was very beautiful and were able to get drinking pictures of the mountains reflecting on the lake.

This is a hike for all ages, as the trail around the lake is short, flat, and well maintained. This summer we saw a mama moose and two calves munching on water plants in the lake. There are many picnic tables in the area and...More

This is one of the nicer hiking trails at Rocky Mountain National Park. When we went, there were not that many other hikers on the trail so that made it nice. The trail goes all the way around Sprague Lake, and there are great views...More

This is another easy access hike around a beautiful lake designed for all ages. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery. The shuttle drops you closer to the trail than you can park. This is another must do in the park.

We hiked here from the Glacier Basin campground where we were staying. GB has a trailhead that takes you to Sprague so we though, why not. Had heard about it before but never prioritized it before because it sounded too easy to be worthwhile. Saw...More
