We stayed at the lake crescent lodge and the experience was magical. The mist floating on the top of the lake early morning was a sight to behold. Once the sun was up, you could see the beautiful blue waters glistening in the light. I...More

We've stayed at the Lake Crescent Lodge many times and mostly enjoyed the lake and the quiet. This time, we dragged ourselves out to take the half mile Trail just east of the lodge grounds. AMAZING. There probably isn't a better short loop trail to...More

I visited Olympic National Park for ten days in early August. Getting accommodations in the park was not easy. I lurked on the internet at all sorts of strange hours and was able to patch together stays at all of the park lodges except Kalaloch...More

When you discover a location as beautiful as Lake Crescent, it's hard to capture the splendor in words. We certainly wish that we had stayed here many many days. Take the easy Trail up to the waterfall it's really worth it!

Bring a picnic and wander along the beach. Good spot to picnic, kayak/canoe or follow trails and enjoy nature. Very quiet. It is public but appears to mostly cater to visitors of the lodge and cabins.

I'm not sure. I haven't camped there before. You could reach them by calling the park and finding out through their Park Rangers or the Lake Crescent Lodge staff.
