Ok, I have been to a ton of National Parks. . But this one just felt like it was just a ton of driving to get from one "attraction" to the next. Hurricane Ridge was very pretty as there was snow on the peaks. We...More

Who would have thought that at the top of a mountain in a sulpher-laden hot-springs spa, there would be a decent restaurant? Well, there is. The food is not haute cuisine, but interesting: elk hamburgers, Mexican flautas, and crab Cobb salad. The creme brule is...More

Enjoy hiking and beach walks. Stop by the hot springs and relax. Make sure to drive up to hurricane ridge to see the wildlife. So much to see you can spend a week on this drive and not see it all.

Really a lovely way to spend a week. We enjoyed the drive along the coast despite heavy rain. We stayed at several places that were beautiful with moss covered trees. We saw 6 bald eagles during our stay around the peninsula.

This is a very unique forest ... It's a rain forest, but temperate. So the trees are actually much taller than in a tropical rain forest, everything is covered with moss. But it's also more walk able and airy. There is really nothing like it,...More

This is one of the most scenic drives in the US. However, you need to use something like Google maps or another route calculating device to give you an estimate of how long it will take to drive between different points. A great deal of...More

We did a daytrip from Port Angeles to Forks and back. Unbeknownst to us since we didn’t think to check the Department of Transportation website, major roadwork is currently underway along two sections in the Lake Crescent area. We had around a 15-minute stop at...More

Maps are misrepresenative; 20 miles does NOT repeat NOT equal 20 minutes. Beautiful drive to be sure, but watch the clock.

Here's the information from my review I posted. You could do the same but shorten the time you spend at each place. Best call for lodging soon as with any US National Park, trying to secure a place in summer might be... More

It really depends on what you like to do. This park is very diverse and doing 2-3 days you really wouldn't experience much, like hiking, vistas etc. But if all you have is 3 days, go for it and see what you see. Maybe... More
