We didn't go down to Bench Lake but went all the way to Snow Lake. The hike itself is okay, fun but nothing spectacular. However, Snow Lake is very pretty and is definitely worth the hike. The water is exquisitely blue. The hike is not very strenuous other than at the very end when you go all the way down... More

After visiting Reflection Lakes, we hiked up to Snow Lake. The lake itself is very nice, but the immediate viewing area at the top is rather small. There was one small stream to cross, and the overall elevation was around 700 feet. There is a lake on the way up to Snow Lake (Bench Lake); however, we did not feel... More

This is not an easy hike but the lake is so beautiful that it was worth the hike out there. The water is turquoise and so pretty. There is a smaller lake that you hike by before you get to your destination but the trail was pretty steep to get down to it. There was a trail near the lake... More

We were not expecting too much from this hike, it was just a quick little jaunt to end our stay in the park. We visited reflection lake first, hoping to see it's iconic, perfect reflection of Mt. Rainier, but were disappointed by the rather dull and blurry reflection. Next we hiked to Bench and Snow Lake. We ran into relatively... More

My family hiked to Bench and Snow Lake to fish. But we did not catch anything. We used plastic baits(worms and squids) and they didn't work at all. On our way out, we came across an old timer who said that salmon eggs should work. Anyway, all wasn't lost. View of mountains, flowers, snow, mist were still amazing and hike... More

Perfect hike for a cloudy day! Meadows are filled with birds and flowers. Lake is exquisite! Moraine fascinating! You cross a stream and over a couple of well made log bridges. I used hiking sticks...but...I'm 70😎

Snow Lake Snoqualmie Hiked 8/6 This hike is just A MUST DO for any hiker. My hiking book says 6 miles but my fit app marked 8 miles. About 75% of the hike is uphill and rocky. Lots of nature around, forest, dropouts and of course THE lake. At the end of the summit continue on the main trail and... More

Long elevation climb over rugged terrain in some parts. Recommend bringing hiking boots lots of water and swimsuits, and aqua socks. Amazing views. Have fun, since this was a great day hike.

I saw some photos of this Lake that were spectacular, but after hiking there myself I think some of the best views are on the way to the Lake! There are rock outcroppings that give you great mountain views at points along the trail, and just after the trail head you have great mountain views with small waterfalls the entire... More

The trail to the lake was still covered by snow and not accessible to people who do not have proper gear.
