I have wanted to visit Cades Cove for some time now and it didn't disappoint!!! It is inside Great Smoky Mountain National Park and is an 11 mile loop through some of the most beautiful country you will ever see!! Take your time and view wildlife and take plenty of photos. We were lucky that in January there aren't many... More

Best way to spend New Years Day, outside in the beautiful smokies. We originally set out to hike on a trail that ended up being closed due to the recent wild fires. This is a beautiful park and very well maintained. Rain or shine, it is always worth going here.

Cades Cove is really a must visit. I for warn you that there are better times to visit than other times. Personally I recommend early spring say late April into May. Then again in the very late fall or into November thru January. Other wise during the summer months the Cove is packed with tourist. You'll enter and drive an... More

Our family loved Cades Cove. It is absolutely stunning. We loved driving through the beautiful landscape. We saw countless number of deer. The old churches and buildings are amazing. We spent about four hours there because we arrive late in the day. I regret that we did not have more time. We will definitely go back there someday.

We just love this place. It's a great drive that allows you to see the true Smokies. The visitor's center has a big selection of books and knowledge of the area. Our kids look forward to driving through there and looking for animals.

This is a beautiful 11-mile loop in a valley in the Smokies. Allow plenty of time because the loop is one-lane, one-way and traffic is often at a standstill. There are several historic cabins and churches. There are also a lot of deer. Sometimes, we see a bear. Sometimes, we ride our bicycles through the loop. It is a beautiful... More

Cade's Cove is a scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is short but has plenty of stops and traffic moves slowly so it may take you half a day to really experience it. You'll see plenty of deer and turkeys, and possibly otters, raccoons and even black bears (except for winter, when they are usually denning).... More
