Cades Cove is beautiful. When you 1st get to Cades Cove there is a welcome center that we did not go in. The views as you drive along are beautiful. As you drive along the trail which you can also bike to there is a lot of historic buildings and church. Most of the structures to do look the same... More

I know people want to drive slow to see the wonder of Cades Cove. I don't blame them. What I do blame is their lack of respect for other drivers by failing to pull over to let the traffic backed up behind them pass. I was at Cades Cove in the middle of winter -- February -- and I swear... More

Wow, fantastic views, up close to animals, peek of the way life used to be, so simple and uncluttered. A definite must see! Plan to spend the entire day! Repeat trip expected. A true treasure.

From my very earliest memories, as a child, I remember going to 'the Cove' as it was called with my family.... Once I grew up, I continued the tradition of taking my family to the Smokies. I always made sure we not only drove around the park, but would spend most of one day visiting all of the sites along... More

We drove through Cades Cove and it was breathtaking! Everyone who visits this area, this IS a must do! It takes a few hours if you stop and look at the buildings and sights but well worth every minute, and the drive to was beautiful as well! We'll definitely be back and go through again!

So much natural beauty and history can be found here. You can either ride the loop in your vehicle or you can ride a bike through. There is so much to take in here. The landscape and views, the animals and then there are many stops along the trail. Some stops are quick to get to and other stops take... More

I had the great fortune of being able to visit Cades Cove during the early week on a cold winter day. The light snow and minimal crowds made for a thrilling experience. I can imagine during busy times the traffic and large crowds could distract from the appreciation, but that wasn't an issue on this day. This is a stunningly... More
