I grew up going to the Smokey Mountains and had never ever been here. It was just so lovely. It was crowded, but there were places to hike, lunch and just be in nature. It is a great area to be right out of town...More

We traveled up but were limited on time due to a scheduled show. We went to the entrance of rainbow falls trail and got to hike a lil bit. Such peace in being outside with nature. As we left, about .5 mi from Gatlinburg downtown...More

We traveled the trail with family and friends. Views were amazing. We loved seeing the scenic mountains and wonderful old buildings. Stopped along the way and enjoyed a picnic lunch along the meandering creek. It was a beautiful day with wonderful friends. We will do...More

Nice quiet road with less traffic than other more popular places in the park. Hard to find it and little information at the points of interest. For $1 you can pick up a tour guide pamphlet at either entrance to the park. There is no...More

During the peak Leaf season traffic can get really bad in places like Cades Cove. There was a decent flow of folks through The Roaring Forks motorway but not nearly as bad as Cades Cove and Clingmans Dome. This roadway can be accessed very easily...More
