As many others have said, this is an excellent photo op. I went early in the morning and got some amazing shots. When I show people they think they are professional photos and they are easily the best landscape pics from our trip. It is a winding dirt road, just keep going and you will get to a parking area.... I had to really beg my husband to take me to Schwabacher Landing because it was on a not-so-great gravel road--not a great idea in a low sports car! But, it was so worth it!! The views of the Tetons from this vantage point are truly amazing. The reflections of the mountains in the Snake River are phenomenal! Be sure... More

Still pools created by beavers provides magical reflections of the Teton range. Usually good for wildlife including an active beaver colony.

By far, this is the most peaceful place in the park. It gets you away from some of the nasty tourists, and takes you to a location where you will see beavers working on their lodges, moose, and other wildlife. The road down to the landing can be extremely rough, so suv or trucks are recommended

I have seen people posting photos on instagram from here, so we definitely wanted to stop here on our trip. The road down to the river is rough but it is well worth it. The panorama is stunningly perfect with the mountains reflecting off of the river. Definitely take your camera! There was a beaver dam, there, too. It was... More

This was my favorite view of the Tetons! Very small sign for landing turn off - Very near Mormon Row on U.S 191. Once you are down the short drive, be sure to walk down BOTH trails to the water. Fantastic spot for reflection photos of the Tetons. Absolutely loved it!

This is one of the most beautiful spots for the reflection of the Teton's in the water. There is also a beaver dam and lodge with lots of activity. It has been present for 10 years. We took a ranger led Wildlife Caravan and first saw this spot. Ranger tours are great, and they are free! You do have to... More

And we had unobstructed views from our private patio at Jackson lake lodge. Catching the reflection of the Tetons in the lazy river is not to be missed. This little dirt road ends in a picture perfect setting and does not disappoint

Schwabacher Landing is listed on the GTNP map you receive when you enter the park. It is just off the main road down a dirt drive. There are two places to stop. We prefer to go to the end. When there is no breeze, this is a great spot to take pictures especially in the morning to get reflections of... More

Loved this spot. Took some great pictures with reflections of Tetons in the ponds. Saw a couple of moose, one mother and one young one. Walk the shoreline to the right for additional views that are worth the short distance. Go as far as the "two benches".
