Sunrise is the best time for the reflections pool effect. I had to wait out a family of ducks that were causing ripples in my reflection😜 this is a Bear Spay needed area in early mornings.

Tricky to navigate the roads in the dark, but you should definitely visit at sunrise. You’re welcome.

From the gravel parking lot you follow a trail. The hike is fairly easy with some tree roots in the way. There is a beaver dam but it was the wrong time of day to see them. There were many ducks in the area. We...More

After a short drive down a gravel road, you arrive at a beautiful spot. There isn't much here but it's a popular spot for anglers. If the wind cooperates, photographers can get an excellent reflection photo of the mountains.

The morning provides the east sun exposure on the mountains and it highlights them better. It the afternoon as the sun moves west the mountains are less defined for pictures.
