Mormon Row Historic District is interesting for its history, but it is primarily a delight for photographers. It is nearly impossible to take a poor photo here. However, you must be patient and arrive early. We rose before the sun was up and arrived in time to catch the pink light of the morning just as it hit the mountains... More

Beautiful view along with information about some of the first settlers to the area. The area is well kept and worth the visit

So important to be there before just before sunrise to catch the sunlight painting the mountains first - then the barn - a spectacular event - only lasts a few minutes.

Basically had this area to ourselves, unlike the summer season when photographers line up with tripods and go wild to catch the barns in the magic time light. Antelope Flats Road leading to Mormon Road was open. Late season tourists should be sure to check for area road closures in the park area. Elk hunting is also in progress at... More

Arrive early - we were there around 7am - there was not a soul in sight and the skies were clear and the mountain tops free from cloud (cloud often rolls in later in the day covering the peaks). The barns and buildings make for a wonderful foreground focus to the Tetons in the background. Wander the entire length of... More

Mormon Row is definitely one of the highlights of Grand Teton NP. When near Moose, take Antelope Flats Road and you'll be there. Try to go in the morning when the light is better if you want to take clearer photos of the Tetons as a background to the old barns. As these are fields, there are plenty of birds... More

We drove thru the area just to say we had been. Not worth spending a lot of time unless you are in the area for a week.

Very interesting, historic and photogenic old barns in the Grand Teton National Park. Amazing how the pioneers lived.

A nice brief stop along the way from one place to another but not a destination. If you are into photography a wonderful place

This is right off the main road, very easy to get to, and offers some amazing photo opportunities. The day we were there, we had a huge rainbow as a backdrop and took so many pictures. It was a great stop.
