Part of the trail was closed when we first got there, and they are continuing to do work in the area. But don't let that stop you from visiting! There is not a bad view anywhere around Jenny Lake. Lovely place to walk or go...More

For folks that don't want to hike the Seven plus miles around Jenny Lake, the big secret is that the best way to see the magnificent Jenny Lake at the foot of the Grand Teton is to walk the short path south from Jenny Lake...More

Inspiration point was closed when we were in the Tetons and we hiked just a very short part of the hike near the Jenny Lake trailhead. It was really crowded with hikers. What worked better for us was to stop at the Jenny Lake observation...More

They are doing maintenance on the section to hidden falls, so that part of the trail was closed. We went the other way and enjoyed the views. Was pretty well traveled for this early in the season, so no animals were seen.

Beautiful lake area. Crystal clear lake with stunning vistas. If one is planning to visit during summer of 2017 check with Park Rangers on hiking trails access. Several of the trails are closed due to flooding. We did the String Lake hike of about 3...More

This is an easy paved trail to ride. Plan to ride uphill from Moose to Jenny Lake and then have a nice cruise back down.

We visited here in June, the view was amazing, the mountain and water complex was out of this world. We saw Elk, some fish, and dipped our feet in the water. This was along the scenic drive.

So many amazing views of the mountains from the trail. its a well marked trail and for the most part it was pretty lightly traveled. There is an outlook where buses stop and it will get crowded. The water is crystal clear.

On the recommendation of a National Park ranger, we opted for the Jenny Lake Trail - north entrance. Due to the time of year, we could only do part of the trail (if you had hiking boots - Inspiration Point - would have been very...More

We didn't go the full length since there was still snow out and Cascade Canyon was closed, but the few miles we did do around the lake was pleasant and gave you a good chance to be immersed in the area. There are a lot...More

I do not recall when the ferry stops running. I want to say sometime in October. Once over there there is hiking and sightseeing. In beautiful epic proportion! Bring your camera! Enjoy!
