Yavapai point located not very far from the visitors centre, is one of the best lookout stations on the Rim trail. This point literally juts out the farthest into the open abyss and is perhaps the closest you can come to seeing the depths and...More

This is a great place to watch the sunset over the grand canyon. Plenty of places along the rim to get an excellent view. Wrap up warm though - it gets cold once the sun goes down and can be very windy!

A nice way to end your visit to the park. You get a good view from the top of here. Recommend after hustle and bustle of the visitor centre.

The observation is neat to see and has good information about the park. It's right by the Yavapai point, and so I would come here as something more along the way rather than go out of my way for this.

My family and I loved this observation station! I especially appreciated it because I could view the Grand Canyon with the security of being securely indoors to view the canyon and Colorado River...I am terrified of heights so the outdoor points with just a small...More
