My wife and I stopped here while traveling down Highway 87A. The history of the original bridge, which was quite a feat when it was originally built, is interesting. Also the new companion bridge, that takes today's traffic across the Colorado River, almost looks like a mirror of the original bridge. The view down to the Colorado River below is... More

Beautiful bridge to cross and take pictures. There are a few spots to stop and take pictures. The views are amazing.

We walked across the bridge but the highlight was seeing several condors take off from the cliff face and fly gracefully through the air! On our return we saw the condors again circling above the bridge.

This is a breathtaking walk! You will enjoy the sign that says "Don't jump from bridge".....good advice! Enjoy the walk and you will probably find a place at the end to purchase some jewelry. Marvel at this structure and what it spans!

The Navajo Bridge it's beautiful and if you enjoy engineering architecture this is the place for you. The area is beautiful and being able too walk across the bridge enables you to take some amazing pictures. The only draw back is I wish there had been more at the visitor center about it and the surrounding area plus gifts.

You'll find the bridge on Highway 89A between Bitter Springs and Jacob Lake, AZ - we were actually kind of taken by surprise as we came up on it! We're so very glad we stopped, parked and walked the bridge...the Colorado River below was so beautiful and the Marble Canyon was spectacular...a great warm up to what we were headed... More

This was an interesting stop on the way to the Canyon. You can walk across the historic bridge as the new one was constructed to support today's traffic. There is a very nice visitor's center at the bridge with clean bathrooms. There are other things to see close by, but we did not have the time. Bring a lunch because... More

in a land with plenty of gorgeous rocks, hills and in the company of canyons, this stopover completes a visit to the north of the Grand Canyon North Rim area or when driving on highway 89A. the main attraction for us was going over the Colorado River. walking the Navajo Bridge gave us a chance to see the river from... Just stop and walk across. It's free. In a world where pretty much everything costs money it sure is nice to find a great thing to do without paying a cent. Bathroom on the West side ONLY, very clean.

We have rushed through this area many times without stopping. Everyone should slow down and stop for this great site. It is well done, and you can walk across the original bridge while you look at the construction of the new one.
