Plan lots of time, and keep an eye on your children. Loved this hike We saw several small herd of elk, jack rabbits, an eagle and some squirrels and lots of chipmunks.

Great trail for seeing many views of the Canyon, easily accessible all the way along. Would recommend if you only have a limited amount of time in the park and want to see alot.

This is just a beautiful trail. Easy walking and just wonderful views. Not too crowded. Lots of picture oppurtunities. A must see.

You don't realize how small you are until you visit this place. The trail runs for miles and miles and the portion we stayed in was all paved and handicap accessible. Beautiful outlooks throughout the walk and a few exciting overlooks for the adventure seekers...More

Do you mean from Yavapai Point on the Rim or the lodge? There are maps online of the South Rim trail that will answer your question about walking from point to point. We used the bus from Yavapai lodge to the Rim Trail... More
