If you go to the Grand canyon south rim you can drive and walk a whole day long. You can also do the bright angel trail in the canyon it is a light trail;

We recently stayed in the Grand Canyon Village and greatly enjoyed our time spend here. The location is perfect, right on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and there is pretty much everything you need here in order to have a great multiple day visit. There are several historic hotels like El Tovar and Bright Angel along with camping... More

I haven't seen much interesting in the village.. If you go to the canyon, spend the whole time by the rim, walking through the trails etc. .There are many other villages across America that has the taste of the native life.

Lot of cars and buses, for I don't know what reason. Unless you up to for quite dangerous hike in the snow nothing worth seeing

Tis is the hub for food, lodging & park services. There are several restaurants, gift shops, hotels, as well as ranger station, bus depot & train depot. We were there the day after it snowed & the staff had already cleared the roads & most of the sidewalks. Is the best place in the park to buy gift/souvenirs as there... More
