Online reviews and recommendations are always different to real life experience. The views are incredible and from different angles, it is a whole new experience. I would highly recommend the South Rim. If you have time to drive along the rim, probably some of the...More

Wetook the long way coming from the Eastside of the South Rim. We stopped at almost every vista point and were not disappointed. It was unimaginable that this was millions of millions of years of erosion. The Colorado River looked so very small from the...More

One of the highlights of our visit was watching the sun go down from the south rim. The lighting changed constantly and the colors were wonderful. The hawks soared and a light wind kept us cool as my daughter and I sat in silence, hugging...More

What can I say - you have to see the Grand Canyon in person to really appreciate it. I would have to say that it's hard to know what to do until you actually get there. We loved just driving up and down the south...More

Awesome views. Shuttle buses are very convenient and warm in the winter. The point at the museum has a warm indoor view that is spectacular too.

I have seen the west rim and this was much better. We rented a car in Las Vegas to drive to the Grand Canyon and spend the night outside the Canyon in Williams. Be sure to have plenty of gas for the drive because gas...More

This is too easy to do not to do, just go there. Drive to the south rim, park, get out & be amazed. This is a national park & you can drive for an hour or so, straight trough: but there are several stopping points...More

Unfortunately, I don’t have a tour recommendation, just a tip to dress warmly and take appropriate shoes. Maybe even ice grippers for the bottom of the shoe if you have them.

We didn’t take a tour. We used the shuttle buses to see all the views in the village. The Orange Bus takes you to the village overlooks to the east, the red bused take you to the village overlooks to the west. The blue buses... More
