We had two rooms and both were fab! The staff were wonderful and quite accommodating with our needs.
Their multi-option choice breakfast (included in the room rate) is in a restaurant on-site in the charming western village - also with superb staff! We also ate lunch there with our canyon VIP pass, as that meal was included on the day pass ticket. We ate dinner on arrival (at our own cost) and they had fab BBQ ribs and chicken options. Live music with a fun and engaging guitarist. Free and ample parking lot. The shuttle drivers (as no vehicles allowed) between our canyon pass sites were all so friendly and helpful!
Cute shops, roping classes, zip lining (seasonal, of course), a night campfire with S’Mores (year round), and plenty of free photo op areas aside from the spectacular canyon and sunrise/sunsets!
The only issue was that in one of our cabins the sliding pocket door to the bathroom kept sliding open. Aside from that all was great!!
We can’t wait to return!

The cabins at the ranch were awesome. There were two separate rooms with queen beds and two baths. Unfortunately, most of the activities at the ranch were still shut down due to Covid 19. We still very much enjoyed ourselves. Played cards on the porch and watch an amazing moon rise. The only concern was the food options. There was only one place open to eat and we luckily got there in time to catch supper before it closed. This place was so cool that if we go back with will just take food and enjoy the cabin.

We stayed in the log cabins at this ranch on the west rim of the Grand Canyon and were not disappointed...we occupied 3 cabins and had a great time...they were spacious warm and great facilities...each one has a porch out front so we sat and talked while waiting for the sunset...the staff then put on a campfire and we made s’mores and talked to other guests...what a fab place...after a great night we slept and woke up early to see the sun rising over the canyon...beautiful colours and not to be missed...the cabins include a great breakfast taken in the restaurant on site...after breakfast we went horse back riding to the edge of the canyon...we walked over sacred ground that the hualapai people spread the ashes of their members over...only horses are allowed to walk over this huge piece of ground...we were led by a very happy cowboy who kept us entertained all the way to the edge whilst making sure we were all ok on horseback...soon it was time to leave after taking part in the shootout and looking round the shops and exhibits on site...if I go back to the west rim I would definately stay here again...

We arrived on the ranch on 1st of October 2019. The first surprise was that they asked us if we had bought the entry tickets for the Ranch (and for the two viewpoints of the Grand Canyon - incl. Skywalk) which is 55$ (additional 25$ for the Skywalk) per person. As I repeadetly askes if we have to pay this as well if we just stay at the Ranch they answered normally every visitor has to pay this fee but it‘s ok if we don‘t pay it (they understood that I was getting angry). They told us that it‘s not allowed to go outside of the ranch. So no walking to the rim of the Grand Canyon. You could only see the Canyon if you either pay for a horseback ride (30minutes for 35$ without a stop at the rim) or you pay the entry fee of 55$ as mentioned before and go to the viewpoints by bus (personal car is not allowed).
We paid the 110$ for my wife and me and went to this tour by bus. This tour was the biggest disapointment in the whole road trip. The view at the Skywalk (if you‘re not doing the Skywalk, which is an extra 25$ and you‘re not allowed to have your own camera or smartphone with you because THEY take your picture and SELL it to you in a print version. If you want it electronically its another extra 50$!!!) The view on the center (which had the perfect location was blocked because of the covered up windows - see the pictures below) was not existing. The answer to the question, why they are covered was: „oh you have to pay if you want to see the view outside.“
The breakfast was not worth the letter B of the word breakfast. Staff was extremely uninteressed and everything you wanted (per example orange juice!) was extra and you had to pay for it. After you had your breakfast you had to clean up your table (in a restaurant with the night >200$ this is just not acceptable).
The cabins were nice and extremely clean.
To sum up, this ranch is not worth the money.
The whole west rim trip was a complete rip off without any special experiences. If you have the time, go to south rim, which is a NPS National Park (entry with national park pass). This park has much more to offer and the views are breathtaking.

I have mixed views if this location, We booked the overnight package along with the glass skywalk.
We arrived on hindsight to early as the activities don't take along time and we ended up sitting round waiting to be able to check in. During the day this felt like your standard Disneyfied tourist attraction. Lots of tourists, souvineers and expensive food and drink.
However
Once we were checked in and able to acesss the cabins and once the day trippers had started to leave the place changed for the better.
Firstly the cabins are well appointed clean and very comfortable . The actual staff onsite are really friendly and helpful. After about 5pm we ventured out of our cabin and this felt like a proper ghost town / ranch. We went for dinner (ribs or chicken plus sides) which was lovely whist we were sung to be a cowboy.
At 7.30 the campfire was lit and all the guests were welcome to sit around whilst the camp guide told stories and provided s'mores. Latter the cowboy started a sing along with all the guests.
The quiet and the night skies are really what you should come here for. The view of the stars free of light pollution was amazing. Second was getting up in the morning to watch the sun rise over the Grand Canyon .
Tip,
Arrive later in the day to avoid the crowds.

A throwback back to a different era...the experience was out of this world. The sunsets and sunrises from this particular part of grand canyon is amazing. But the best part was the bonfire and live country music and the s'mores to go along with it. The stars just seemed so much brighter with no city lights to dim their light. Stay the night. Don't miss out on the entire experience. Though if you are a vegetarian you might want to let them know in advance.

We got here about 5:30 pm - ladies checking in were nice and rooms were nice - however we had to rent two rooms for our family of 4 because they only allow 3 to a room with a queen size bed and futon. Inexpensive so that was ok.
Magic show and horse rides and zip line all stopped by 5pm, which we didn’t know. Ice cream shop wasn’t open at all; they had a volleyball net but no volleyball and cornhole but no bean bags. The campfire and s’mores was really nice. The view was nice. The beds were comfy and everything worked well.
The food situation was awful. My 7 year old son only had an option of ribs or dark meat chicken and sides that were not good. Nothing kids usually eat. Only one option for everyone. Hair in our mashed potatoes. Breakfast was literally the slowest on the planet ever. My son puked up the ribs in the middle of the night and has since had diarrhea ever since, probably going to feel crappy for the end of our vaca.

Had no idea what to expect when we arrived at the Hualapai Ranch as we had only visited the south rim and National Park. Check in was not allowed until after 3PM but we could use our tickets to go to the points prior to check in. The ranch was amazing and had so much to offer for both kids and adults. We had dinner at the restaurant which consisted of either BBQ ribs or chicken and two sides. The kids had ice cream after at the saloon. We all enjoyed the magic show, the shooting gallery and the lassos lessons! Unfortunately the wagon ride was not open today, but it is complimentary with your stay. Breakfast is also complimentary for each guest and it was phenomenal! One of the highlights was s’mores by the campfire with a history of the Hualapai tribe and singing by a cowboy. The room was much better than I was thinking (I’ve stayed at some ‘rustic’ cabins in the Smoky Mountains). No refrigerator or microwave, but we didn’t need either. There is an individual AC unit in each cabin. We will most definitely return!

We booked for two nights with a Legacy ticket is good for the Skywalk ticket, night stay, a hot breakfast the next morning, as well a night time activity with the Cowboys with a fire and s’mores. The additional night cost us $100. We got through all that was available on our first day. That night we had a strange sewer smell in the room. The water from the sink was brown. We also had two flys in the room that bothers us all night. There was no swatted or spray in the room.
We decided not to stay the second night. We called the front desk and got out of the room before checkout. We told the girl at the front desk about the condition of the room and asked if we could get a refund for the second night. She asked the manager who made a phone call and told us no refunds.
We could not recommend the Hualapai Ranch.
