So glad we went on this hike to not only see Virginia Falls but St. Mary Falls also. Fairly easy hike, but beautiful areas and falls.

Moderate hike, lovely waterfalls. Approx 4 miles total. Bring water. After you see the first waterfall, St. Mary's...keep going, you will pass several more...keep going, the trail ends at Virginia Falls.

Hiking to Virginia Falls past St Mary's Falls was a bit challenging for us 'oldies'. We stopped to rest quite a bit but finally made it and were glad we did! The falls are gorgeous!!!

We stayed in a cabin at the West Glacier KOA. Very close to the park and lots of great ammenities like pools and a playground.

Yes, but it is level for the most part and at the end when you do go up a bit it is not a steep continuous climb, there are a few waterfalls along the way to stop and see + lots of shade. I truly loved this hike and to... More
