Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon, as parking lot fills during peak Summer season. This is where the trail head for the Highline Trail is located. Hidden Lake is an easy hike that begins behind the visitors center. The lake is...More

Logans Pass is at the cross of the continental divide inside Glacier National Park. The visitor center here is small, but nice. It's the surroundings that make this place the highlight of your trip on the Going to the Sun road. There are several educational...More

When we were planning out Going to the sun road trip, we wondered if Logan Pass really was IT. In our opinion the road is gorgeous- but YES - this is where you want to be. Like all info says arrive early for parking. It...More

This was one of the many highlights in the park. It was gorgeous anyway you turned and provided great photo opportunities, rewarding hikes, and a clean bathroom stop. The only negative is that the parking lot is a mess to get around in, not big...More

This is a must see for Glacier, spectacular views in every direction. Multiple spots with snow along the path to Hidden Lake. Hike is easy enough for kids to do. Parking can be a nightmare but it's worth the hassle.

The only way to get here is the Going to the Sun Road. So you will be passing by. It has a big parking lot but very busy. There is a gift shop and bathrooms. By time you get here you will want to stop.

Cons: Parking is difficult. If there isn't parking, drive down a little bit, there might be parking down from the parking lot or circle back to the parking lot and you might be lucky to find a parking space. Other con is it is BUSY...More

1 and 1/2 hours or 2 depending on traffic. Leave early. If the parking lot is full at Logan Pass, you'll be motioned to keep moving by park rangers. I'd take the cool red open top park vehicles next time and let someone else... More

Best if you ask at the GNP Parks visitor centre. The people there have good information. You can also check Trail status reports on the GNP website.
